¿Las cuecen en su ciudad igual que en la mía? Pues hermanemos nuestras ciudades y compartamos recetas de cocina. Más o menos este pseudoprincipio gastronómico es el que me lleva a hermanar Alteralcarria con un blog en Grecia, el blog Zitsa News (no pinchen si no leen griego porque no les va a servir de nada).Se trata de la versión helénica de Alteralcarria, pero algo más veterano y con bastantes más seguidores. Lo mantiene Kostas, panadero, emprendedor visionario, fotógrafo y filósofo que me acogió durante unos días en su casa este verano y a quien ayudé a preparar barras de pan, rosquillas y bizcochos.
El blog habla sobre el pueblo y sus habitantes, y lo leen los muchísimos emigrados de Zitsa a los Estados Unidos, Australia y Europa. Los parejanos no viajan tan lejos, creo, se quedan más bien por la zona de la Alcarria o llegan como mucho a Madrid, así que obviamente el blog de Kostas tiene un fin mucho más social que Alteralcarria, pero en el fondo, en ambos se cuecen habas.
En la fotografía, de Kostas, se ve uno de los puentes de piedra de la sierra de Zagoria.

Great to read you here. I would have liked to leave a comment in Zitsa News, but I really could not understand a thing and didn´t know where to do it!
You asked me to translate what I wrote in this post, so there it goes (I´ll do my best but will have to omit the first part; just can´t think of a way to translate it. It´s the part where I declare our brotherhood, or sisterhood, or whatereverhood):

Zitsa News is the greek version of Alteralcarria, though a bit older and with far more readers. Its owner is Kostas, who is a baker, a visionary businessman, a photographer and a philosopher who hosted me for a couple of days this summer and whom I helped with the bakery.
His blog deals with his village and its locals, and the reading audience consists mainly of the manifold Zagorians who emigrated to the USA, Australia and Europe. People from Pareja don´t travel that far: they stay mainly in the area or may get just as far as Madrid, so Kostas´blog serves clearly a much more social purpose than mine, but then again, it is also clear that we both have similar interests, isn´t it?
